摘要: Abstract Most studies of housing allowances focus on their role in policy. In contrast, this paper examines from an income support perspective. It utilises a modified version Esping-Andersen's welfare regime typology to examine the means-tested EU-15. Using secondary analysis 2007 EU-SILC dataset, it prevalence, generosity, degree targeting and impact disposable incomes allowances. demonstrates that they vary both within between regimes. also shows are not simply liberal policy instrument, but employed extensively social democratic conservative regimes; only focused poorest households.
