摘要: Given the key role of biogenic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to tropospheric chemistry and regional air quality, it is important generate accurate VOCs emission inventories. However, only a less fraction plant species, in temperate grassland Inner Mongolia, has been characterized by quantitative measurements. A taxonomic methodology, which assigns measurements unmeasured an applicable inexpensive alternation for extensive survey, although data are needed additional families genera further validate approach vegetation. In this experiment, rates 178 species were measured with portable photoionization detector (PID). The results showed most some have consistent feature their emission, especially isoprene, provide basic premise methodology develop inventories grassland. Then, was introduced into assigning rate other 96 no available here. systematical inventory vegetation Mongolia provided evidence that taxonomy relationship can serve as useful guide generalizing emissions behavior many, but not all,
