Predictive Validity of Factors Influencing the Institutionalization of Elderly People with Psycho-Geriatric Disorders

摘要: The predictive validity of certain items was tested with respect to their influence on the institutionalization elderly people psycho-geriatric disorders (n = 69). Twelve measuring both patient's condition and exhaustion around patient were tested. Two outcome measurements used, first number patients who institutionalized after end 12 months second days at an institution during months. “Exhaustion spouse” “Supervision need” showed highest correlation predicted institutionalization, better than describing degree dementia.
