摘要: This report contains three projects concerning Se incorporation into selenoproteins. The first is the enzymatic conversion of bovine suppressor phosphoseryl(Ps)-tRNA to selenocysteyl(Sec)-tRNA which co-translationally used for synthesis glutathione peroxidase. second shows relationship between muscular dystrophy and tRNA. ratio major tRNAs in dystrophic hindleg muscles was abnormally increased. At 3 months old, it 1.7 times higher than normal mice. last detection natural opal tRNA Escherichia coli. seryl-tRNA phosphorylated by a kinase E. We consider that Sec-tRNA through Ps-tRNA universal eukaryotes prokaryotes.
