摘要: Locality, Area and Thickness of the Bowlder-clay Deposit. The occurrence a thick deposit bowlder-clay on Bay Fundy coast just west Saint John harbor, containing intercalary seams stratified clay, was referred to in my report surface geology southern New Brunswick.* This forms marginal strip land from Carleton Duck cove, one half two miles length, bank facing sea rises 40 60 feet height above beach. part it jutting out into bay forming headland opposite Partridge island is called Negrotown point. A breakwater has been constructed there. at this point attains its greatest width, being 1,033 yards across north south direction. At Fern ledges, so called, three-quarters mile .
