Characterization of the Dual Subcellular Localization of Lilium LsGRP1, a Plant Class II Glycine-Rich Protein

摘要: The defense-related gene LsGRP1 exhibits an increased level of expression in Lilium spp. after being infected by Botrytis elliptica, the fungal pathogen lily leaf blight. In this study, profile protein (a plant class II glycine-rich protein) was characterized biochemically and its subcellular localization leaves evaluated using immunohistochemistry, enhanced green fluorescent (EGFP) imaging, extraction analysis. Using LsGRP1-specific antibody, found to be most abundant epidermal cells phloem tissues. Leaves from plants at different growth stages demonstrated similar levels 14- 16-kDa a decreased amount 23-kDa senescence stage. LsGRP1-EGFP imaging assays revealed that 14-kDa located plasma membrane whereas 16- weakly bound cell wall. time course analyses response salicylic acid treatment or B. elliptica infection showed accumulation over time. Because could detected ubiquitin conversion via mono-ubiquitination presumed, which is phenomenon has not been reported for protein.
