摘要: Low back pain originating from intervertebral disc is described by two separate but related etiologies: herniation and discogenic pain. When other causes are excluded, prevalence of was reported to be between 17-42%. Diagnostic modalities include clinical examination, imaging, discography provocative remains the golden standard for diagnosis. Treatment methods noninvasive approaches such as drugs, physiotherapy modalities, multidisciplinary biopsychosocial rehabilitation; invasive intradiscal treatments epidural injections; lastly surgical fusion artificial joint replacement. Evidence drug treatment in chronic low limited nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs opioids which associated with many adverse outcomes. It has been shown that when used together patients may obtain additional benefits. base physical behavioral like school specific exercise programs. There moderate evidence injections poor treatments. fusions replacements similar it not superior rehabilitation or well-designed treatment. Multiple authorities have emphasized potential complications indication who do response conservative In future, most promising seem long-term programs and/or injections. High quality randomized controlled studies adequate sample sizes long term follow ups should designed order determine optimal modalities. Key words: pain, non-surgical treatment, updates
