摘要: For the last two decades, there has been a tremendous increase towards penetration of wind power as source electricity production all over world. With existing plants and more that are to be planned, great importance analyze farm(s) interaction with system. As it is now obvious, many large farms utilize variable speed doubly fed induction generator turbine concept. In this context, become necessary able model DFIG, together their control protection circuits adequately. paper, main contribution between farm utilizing such concept Egyptian transmission grid using DIgSILENT simulation software. The curve, principle operation its components systems were thoroughly investigated. By applying aggregation techniques, study was performed by connecting grid. concern investigate impact fault on both electrical mechanical turbine. results indicate response shown promising.
