摘要: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is a group of malignancies with serious impact on patient quality life due to reduced rate response chemotherapy or radiation therapy. MiR-21 has been identified as one the most common proto-oncogenes. It hypothesized that upregulated miR-21 could serve potential biomarker for human cancer diagnosis. Considering target genes in HNSCC, this transcript an important player several cellular processes control carcinogenesis. The abnormal expression pathologies assessed publications, but given heterogeneity published results, meta-analysis proper bioinformatics analysis databases are needed correctly establish prognostic molecule. present comprises survival data HNSCC patients, reported HR 95% CI, association levels miR-21. Our investigation revealed be used successfully confirming its oncogenic potential. Specifically, upregulation these patients predicts worse outcome terms rate.
