Aids-risk behavior among homosexual males: The role of attitudes and substance abuse

摘要: Abstract This paper reports the results of a broad survey homosexual males regarding AIDS-risk behavior. A very high proportion reported both anxiety over possible HIV infection, and probability exposure to HIV. Although 80% respondents changes in sexual behavior, frequency monogamous, stable relationships is unchanged from that found 16 years ago, 19% continued frequent partners. Consistent with “health belief” models, fear future perceived control behavior were strongly related behavioral change.
