摘要: Abstract With demographic shifts occurring and with global economic competition growing, policy makers are beginning to focus on the importance of educating nurturing nation's children. This article addresses issue how federal government should subsidize Aid Dependent Families Children (AFDC) which many poor children depend. The presents regression results indicating that amount subsidy for AFDC is inversely related percentage blacks in state population, it directly per capita income tax effort state. It draws implications advocates a more direct participation financing AFDC.
