摘要: Abstract In the present work, we studied radiation shielding parameters such as mass attenuation coefficients, effective atomic number, half value layer, mean free path, macroscopic removal cross-sections and neutron transmission function for samarium doped lead alumino borate glasses containing barium, lithium zinc oxides at medical diagnostic energies (between 20 150 keV) using MCNPX code. The results showed that photon depends on type of modifier used (i.e. ZnO, BaO or Li2O) also, upon energy photon. higher coefficients were found glass BaO. also revealed Li2O has maximum number between 40 keV. addition, some important (ΣR) (N/N0) have been calculated investigated samples.
