摘要: Spraying N-(2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-N'-phenylurea (CPPU, code name KT-30) on unpollinated flowers of kiwifruit, Actinidia chinensis Planch., at or before anthesis, induced parthenocarpic fruit development. Flowers treated 3 days anthesis developed small and completely seedles fruits. large fruits with many seeds which consisted seed coat only without any indication the development embryo endosperm. Post-bloom application CPPU strongly stimulated growth, about weeks after being more effective than that just anthesis. These were larger untreated open-pollinated control ripened earlier, as evidenced by softening flesh a decrease in titratable acidity. The possibility commercial kiwifruit was discussed relation to elimination hand pollination.
