摘要: High-spin states have been populated in ${}_{53}^{117}\mathrm{I}$ via the ${}^{90}\mathrm{Zr}{(}^{31}\mathrm{P},2p2n)$ reaction at 150 MeV, using EUROGAM II $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-ray spectrometer to record high-fold coincidences. A quadruples analysis $({\ensuremath{\gamma}}^{4})$ has used extend known level scheme. In addition several aligned noncollective states, a new high-spin band showing characteristics of smooth termination established and linked into low-spin Its structure inferred through comparison with cranked Nilsson-Strutinsky calculations.
