摘要: Abstract The visible absorption spectra of two oxazine dyes, brilliant cresyl blue and nile blue, in aqueous urea solutions (0.01–1 M) were studied as a function the dye concentration. Due to structural similarity investigated their spectral features compared. dimerization behavior dyes water with or without was analyzed terms monomer–dimer equilibrium. nature structure interacting pairs for these discussed using exciton theory. constant values calculated. For both solutions, reduction dimer formation observed. excitonic parameters compared those oxazine-1, which is structurally similar dyes.
