Photoreactions of vinylferrocene with carbon tetrachloride and tetrachloroethylene in cyclohexane

摘要: The photodecomposition of vinylferrocene in binary equimolar solvents such as carbon tetrachloride — cyclohexane and tetrachloroethene exposed to monochromatic (λ = 300 nm) polychromatic radiation has been studied, the quantum yields photoproducts photodecrement determined. U.V. spectra systems suggest that intermolecular charge-transfer complexes are formed, first interaction stage between halogen derivatives; equilibrium constants, K, molar extinction coefficients, (ɛc), have determined for this process.
