摘要: Reproduction in humans is unique two major aspects. First, the incidence of chromosomally abnormal and developmentally compromised human preimplantation embryos exceptionally high, second, uterus decidualizes spontaneously each cycle, a process also responsible for menstrual shedding endometrium absence pregnancy. Emerging evidence suggests that these distinctive reproductive traits are functionally linked. Thus, decidual enables mother to limit investment pregnancies, while menstruation imposes need constant recruitment mesenchymal stem cells regenerate renew cycle. Endometrial immune-privileged compared with other types adult cells, suggesting role accommodating deeply invading semi-allogenic fetal trophoblast. by coupling competence tissue renewal, decidualization adapt pregnancy failure changing ecology. By imposing cyclic renewal endometrium, spontaneous followed bestows functions on essential success.
