摘要: Vitamin D has proven to be much more than a simple "calcium hormone." The fact that the vitamin receptor been found in cells not related mineral metabolism supports statement. interest of nephrologists and its effects beyond increased over last few years, evidencing importance this so-called "sunshine In present review, we highlight most recent developments traditional use chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, namely, control secondary hyperparathyroidism (sHPT). Furthermore, also explore data available regarding new possible therapeutic uses for treatment other complications CKD such as vascular calcification, left ventricular hypertrophy, or proteinuria. Finally, some still scarce but very promising role transplant patients are reviewed. point potential beneficial effect metabolism.
