摘要: Background: A low dose of capsaicin and its natural homologs analogs (capsaicinoids) have shown to prevent development gastric mucosal damage alcohol non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs. Based on this experimental observation, a drug program has been initiated develop per os applicable containing drugs eliminate gastrointestinal caused by Methods: As part program, sensitive selective reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography-based method with fluorescence detection developed for quantification dihydrocapsaicin in dog’s plasma. Results: The was evaluated number validation characteristics (selectivity, repeatability, intermediate precision, LOD, LOQ, calibration range). limit (LOD) 2 ng/mL the (LOQ) 10 both dihydrocapsaicin. used analysis plasma samples obtained after administration doses (0.1, 0.3, 0.9 mg/kg bw) Capsaicin Natural (USP 29) animals. Conclusions: results indicated that administered capsaicinoids did not reach general circulation.
