摘要: Background Musculoskeletal pain is one of the most common occupational problems in industrial society and its prevalence potentially associated with mental disorders. Objective To estimate work-related musculoskeletal association occurrence disorders among employees a poultry processing company Southern Brazil. Methods Cross-sectional study conducted 2010 1,103 aged 18 to 52 years old. was investigated based on human figure adapted from Standardized Nordic Questionnaire. We considered reported any part body past 12 months. Occurrence assessed- by Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20). Crude adjusted ratios (PR) corresponding 95% confidence interval (95%CI) were obtained Poisson regression robust variance. Results The 40.3% (95%CI 37.4-43.2) for total sample, 46.8% 43.2-50.5) women 27.8% 23.2-32.3) men. twice higher participants compared those without this condition (PR=2.27; 95%CI 1.99-2.58). This effect remained significant after adjustment sociodemographic, behavioral, health-related variables. Conclusion results present point relevance preventive measures promote physical health workers order reduce or minimize pain.
