摘要: In recent years an increasing interest is observed in the development of more environment friendly paints and coatings. This paper discusses advances use renewable resources formulations for various types particular, current research on application plant proteins vegetable oils coatings systems addressed. ongoing protein at ATO-DLO corn, but particularly wheat gluten, was modified chemically to obtain aqueous dispersions that have excellent film-forming characteristics strong adhesion surfaces. gluten films very interesting mechanical properties, such as extensibility over 600%. Gas moisture permeabilities were found be easily adjustable by changing exact formulation dispersion. Durability water resistance can tailored by, example, varying degree crosslinking binder. Based binders novel, organic solvent-free appears well within reach. Regarding oil-based binders, elsewhere includes from conventional new oilseed crops. A oil originates crops Euphorbia lagascae Vernonia galamensis, which high contents (>60%) epoxy fatty acid (9c,12,13 epoxy-octadecenoic or vernolic acid) used a reactive diluent. Another derived Calendula officinalis, ‘marigold’. contains >63% Cl8 conjugated triene (8t,lOt,l2c-octadecatrienoic calendic like tung oil. Current focused abilities these chemical derivatives oils, particular emulsion systems.
