摘要: Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) has become a well-recognized condition that can result from number of different causes, e.g. sepsis, shock, pneumonia, trauma, liquid aspiration, hematologic disorders, smoke inhalation and many others [1]. Despite diverse etiologies ARDS, the final common pathway results in damage alveolar epithelium endothelium, which leads to high permeability edema.
