摘要: Abstract Environmental education (EE) has recently been included in school curricula India to improve understanding of ecosystems, their functions, and the effect human actions on them. The need for EE is more pronounced Ladakh, Indian Trans-Himalaya, where recent development activities pose challenges fragile mountain ecosystem traditional livelihoods. Inclusion by Jammu & Kashmir State Education Board a conservation program organized jointly various government nongovernmental agencies across Ladakh are some significant steps taken.
