Extended Family Health Center from the perspective of Community Health Agents

摘要: The complexity of primary health care provided in the context family units led to implementation Nucleos Ampliados de Saude da Familia [Extended Family Health Centers], composed medical specialists, responsible for providing clinical, sanitary and teaching support reference team. This paper presents perceptions community agents regarding Extended Center (NASF-AB). Thirteen female working two teams state Minas Gerais, Brazil responded a sociodemographic questionnaire semi-structured interview addressing their experience relationship with NASF-AB. following thematic axes emerged: (1) Report refer cases one or more NASF professional; (2) Community discuss NASF-AB staff receive guidance; (3) Joint home visits; (4) role NASF-PHC. participants perceive NASF-PHC as team specialists who referrals provide group care. Matrix is under development not all professionals are recognized being members staff. We conclude that there need value work implement permanent education actions.
