摘要: The purposes of this study were to determine if computer technology had an impact on EFL college students’ reading habits and online their demographic variables, such as gender, age, CJEE scores, employment status, hours related. 124 valid survey questionnaires collected from students in a university southern Taiwan. results indicated that changed paper-based internet-based reading. 83.9% read information often everyday 69.3% them emails everyday. In contrast, only 31.4% newspapers, 33.1% magazines top 8 things do daily are checking (100%), listening music (96.8%), chatting with friends (96%), using MSN (95.2%), (88.7%), viewing photo albums (85.5%), Yahoo messenger (76.6%), shopping (54%). Students more news, emails, sales information, movie review, fashion news than any other information. As the topics interest, ranking sequence is entertainment, media, internet, recreation sports, references, arts humanities, health. also education, hours, Suggestions implications well future research directions included study.
