Method for detecting hang or dead lock conditions

摘要: A scheme for monitoring links in a point-to-point architecture computer system is discussed. The monitors labels transactions to determine if they have been reissued within user selected time window. corresponding position register updated reflect the value of transaction identifier. Subsequently, after expiration counter, registers compared other predetermined positions identifier has used (reissued). Otherwise, possible hang condition might occurred.
