摘要: Purpose To compare the stress in bone around zirconia and titanium implants under loading. Materials methods A one-piece implant a replica of same made commercially pure were embedded two self-curing acrylic resin blocks. measure strain, strain gauge was applied on surface samples. Loads 50, 100, 150 N, with orientations 30, 45, 60 degrees respect to axis implant. Strain all loading conditions both samples measured. Three-dimensional virtual replicas reproduced using finite element method inserted into block. All materials considered isotropic, linear, elastic. The geometry experimental setup used realize new models, within Results Very close values obtained experimentally numerically. states generated by also very similar, even if moved differently. Moreover, levels higher cortical than trabecular bone. Conclusions bone, implants, appeared be similar. From mechanical point view, is feasible substitute for titanium.
