摘要: A theory with a molecular model is presented for the transition region between flow and hydrodynamic effusion of gases through orifices. The has as its basis parameter which associated failure isotropy gas within container calculated from solid angle subtended by vacuum opening orifice at collision site gaseous molecules cell. This leads to modification kinetic equations ideal both angular number distributions transmission factors; these modified agree well available experimental data. For orifices walls, wall becomes an important because probability that molecule trajectory such it collides depends upon angle. Clausing nonideal appears cylindrical case. It should be possible extend calculations other shapes.
