摘要: We investigate the collider signatures of heavy, long-lived, neutral particles that decay to charged plus missing energy. Specifically, we focus on case a neutralino NLSP decaying Z and gravitino within context General Gauge Mediation. show combination searches using inner detector muon spectrometer yields wide range potential early LHC discoveries for lifetimes ranging from 10^(-1)-10^5 mm. further events Z(l+l-) can be used detailed kinematic reconstruction, leading accurate determinations mass lifetime. In particular, examine prospects event study at ATLAS ECAL (making use its timing pointing capabilities) together with TRT, or alone. Finally, also demonstrate there is region in parameter space where Tevatron could potentially discover new physics delayed Z(l+l-)+MET channel. While our discussion centers gauge mediation, many results apply any scenario long-lived particle particles.
