摘要: This invention relates, e.g., to a method for expanding mammalian acinar cells, comprising culturing the cells in cell culture system medium and attachment surface, under conditions wherein undergo 3-4 fold expansion together with transdifferentiation into modified phenotype (IP cells) showing characteristics of liver cells. The also relates transforming these IP insulin-producing vitro, novel, defined medium. Also disclosed are suitable media performing methods, isolated having and/or produced by kits methods.
