摘要: A flow preconditioner for an electrostatic precipitator which removes particulate matter from a stream of polluted gas immediately after it passes through tangential inlet at the lower end vertical cylindrical housing and straightens divides into laminations parallel to axis housing. It comprises annular ledge or choke ring extending inwardly said above assembly vanes radially angularly spaced apart. Each has receiving edge directed toward inlet, curved portion upwardly away flat in plane axis. The each vane defines trough having camber gradually decreases along its span outer towards housing, together with means vary centrifugal distribution relative render adjustable various capacities.
