摘要: This paper is the fourth and last in a series of articles about major study delays at pedestrian crossing facilities -zebra crossings fixed-time vehicle-actuated pelicans -carried out by University Wales Institute Science Technology (UWIST) under contract to Transport Road Research Laboratory (TRRL). The first article was concerned primarily with measurement interpretation site observations. second third described development validation simulation models three types crossings. final provides mathematical relationships which link vehicle flow levels other parameters indicates some general applications study.
