摘要: The aim of the study was to determine influence immediate and 1-hr-delayed carbohydrate (CHO) protein (PRO) feeding after prolonged exercise on leukocyte trafficking, bacterially stimulated neutrophil degranulation, saliva secretory IgA (S-IgA) responses, circulating stress hormones. In randomized order, separated by 1 wk, 9 male runners completed 3 interventions 2 hr running at 75% VO2max. During control (CON), participants received water (12 ml/kg body mass [BM]) immediately postexercise. (IF), a CHO-PRO solution equal 1.2 g CHO/kg BM 0.4 PRO/kg postexercise delayed (DF), Unstimulated venous blood samples were collected preexercise, postexercise, every 20 min until 140 No significant interactions observed for leukocytes T-lymphocyte subset counts, S-IgA secretion rate, or plasma cortisol, epinephrine, norepinephrine concentration. Bacterially degranulation decreased during recovery CON DF (24% 31%, respectively, min; p < .01) but not IF. Compared with CON, higher IF 100 than 80 onward (p .05). Ingestion after, strenuous prevented decrease in did alter hormone, responses. Further research should identify independent effect different quantities CHO PRO ingestion responses other aspects immune function.
