摘要: Obstetric complications (OC) have been linked to an increased risk for schizophrenia in offspring, especially early-onset (EOS). Extensive cognitive deficits occur EOS, although no study has yet investigate the relationship between OC and cognition EOS. This aims examine frequency of EOS compared controls, also investigates neurocognitive dysfunction two groups. Nineteen patients 53 healthy controls were tested with MATRICS Consensus Cognitive Battery (MCCB), measures combined data from Norwegian Birth Registry. The results indicated group differences but a shorter gestational length led significant decreases overall composite score, processing speed. suggests that poorer neuropsychological performances commonly found may be partly attributable gestation. worsened functioning did not appear among so had different impact on Our findings increase developing significantly affect difficulties this group.
