摘要: Abstract Objective To screen the effect of 28 medicinal plants on inhibition pancreatic lipase and evaluate phytochemical contents extracts. Methods The ethanolic extracts traditional Thai herbal medicines were assayed for their in vitro activities against porcine using p -nitrophenyl butyrate as a substrate. Quantitative estimation flavonoids, phenolics, alkaloids was done. Results Extracts from four herbs, Memecylon edule Roxb., Garcinia vilersiana Pierre, Cryptolepis elegans Wall. Phyllanthus chamaepeuce Ridl., at concentration 100 μg/mL, strongly inhibited by 90.97%, 92.04%, 94.64% 95.38%, respectively. There significant positive correlation between phenolic content activity. Inhibition activity significantly correlated with flavonoid alkaloid contents. Conclusions From this result, it could be concluded that herbs represent rich anti-pancreatic compounds, in particular, Ridl. It is suggested compounds these may applied prevention treatment obesity or hyperlipidemia.
