Inference of phylogeny and taxonomy within the Didymozoidae (Digenea) from the second internal transcribed spacer (ITS2) of ribosomal DNA

摘要: DNA sequences of the second internal transcribed spacer (ITS2) ribosomal (rDNA) were determined for 11 species from four genera Didymozoinae (Indodidymozoon, Helicodidymozoon, Rhopalotrema and Neometadidymozoon) a Lecithasteridae, Lecithaster stellatus. Sequences used to test validity recognised on morphological criteria infer phylogenetic relationships. didymozoids differed by 0.5% 19%. Our analyses: (i) indicate that in Helicodidymozoon are monophyletic group; (ii) support separation genus Indodidymozoon Neometadidymozoon; (iii) recognition as distinct Neometadidymozoon. We found gonochoristic species, I. pearsoni suttiei, be genetically similar hermaphroditic no evidence they belong separate genus.
