摘要: Summary diagrams of ten pollen and charcoal records extending through the whole or a large part late Pleistocene interval covering substantial proportion vegetation environmental variation within Australasia, apart from arid interior Australia, are presented discussed. They demonstrate marked regional superimposed on basic pattern reduced rainfall as well temperatures during glacial periods. The Australia also generally show trend toward more open canopied an increase in that may relate to burning activities people and/or progressively drier variable climatic conditions.
