摘要: Chronic pain, and the ethical management thereof, is single most imperative health issue of this decade. Although a growing majority individuals with chronic pain are middle-aged, largest proportion sufferers older adults. Shifting tides in practice research have led to population-focused approaches management; however, many healthcare providers remains reactive individualistic, limiting discovery implementation long-term solutions for Yet, nurses other professionals an opportune position provide expert care by proactively providing evidence-based patients systematically. The purpose article stimulate discussion on three paradigms important management: (1) prevention; (2) restoration rehabilitation; (3) palliation, which line current national policy initiatives improving patients' experience, overall quality life, reducing associated costs.
