摘要: The diagnosis and management of orofacial pain may be challenging due to complex histories, pathophysiology associated psychosocial co-morbidities such as depression anxiety. Neuropathic facial conditions burning mouth syndrome (BMS), persistent idiopathic (PIFP), atypical odontalgia (AO) trigeminal neuralgia (TN) require early recognition by primary care clinicians referral secondary care. Acute pain-related temporomandibular disorder (TMD) managed in the setting, with identification those at risk developing chronic TMD receiving an Adopting a biopsychosocial approach, consisting physical therapies, pharmacotherapy psychological support can lead effective limit negative impact upon quality life daily functioning.
