摘要: Engaging developing countries, especially emerging counties such as Brazil, Russia, India and China, is a central challenge for international climate policy. While the world still debating outcome of negotiations, China has been quietly its leadership in clean energy moving towards low-carbon economy society. By end 2009, instance, had become world’s leading new wind installer, solar exporter nuclear capacity constructor, total, well top investor energy, while at same time becoming biggest carbon dioxide emitter. China’s move will have big implications on global transition typifies unique opportunity developed economies to engage efforts.
