Dissolution of precipitates by migrating grain boundaries

摘要: Abstract We discuss a new effect observed in TiYO alloy. During recrystallisation, migrating grain boundaries dissolve small yttria precipitates. present theoretical model which describes this phenomenon. The interaction between the moving interface and precipitates is due to attraction of solid solution atoms by wall. argue that case our experiment, attractive force must be long ranged.
