摘要: Endocavitary use of contrast agents in sonography (US) is a relatively new method diagnostic imaging, competing against gray-scale US, fluoroscopy, and endoscopy. This article describes established indications, demonstrates the techniques evolving applications, discusses their potential benefits. These benefits include ability to obtain precise information about placement drains extent fluid collections, accurately identify location features strictures various organs, those complications collections or abscesses, without resorting ionizing radiation. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
