摘要: Abstract C 4 H + reacts with pyridine (C 5 N) via the channels of proton transfer, charge transfer and condensation H-elimination. The reaction is general interest in terms basic chemistry focus present study. By means theoretical calculations Fourier transform mass spectrometer experiments using deuterated substituted pyridines, structure product ion pathways are investigated. From experimental results we find that atom eliminated can originate from either or . show elimination an preferred there observable kinetic isotope effect. replacing atoms methyl groups ortho positions pyridine, also suggest possible steric blocking to condensation. Based on observations several structures intermediates, transition states, final ions, a scheme for condensation-H-elimination discussed.
