摘要: Abstract : This thesis correlates gravity, magnetic, and seismic data for the Raton Basin of Colorado New Mexico. The gravity suggest that study area, region around it, is in isostatic equilibrium. free air anomaly southern portion area suggests lack local compensation due to Quaternary volcanic rock. rock thickness, calculated from data, 180 m. indicated a crustal thickness about 45 km, crust thinned west east. A basement relief map was constructed Bouguer data. Computer techniques were developed calculate depth surface plot contour surface. magnetic defined same found on since overlying sedimentary rocks have no magnetism; therefore, any magnetism present caused by survey near Capulin Mountain detected high level microseismicity may be adjustment along faults or dormant activity.
