摘要: Interannual variations of stratospheric water vapor over 1992‐2003 are studied using Halogen Occultation Experiment (HALOE) satellite measurements. anomalies in with an approximate 2-yr periodicity evident near the tropical tropopause, and these propagate vertically latitudinally mean transport circulation (in a manner analogous to seasonal ‘‘tape recorder’’). Unusually low observed lower stratosphere for 2001‐03. These interannual also Arctic lower-stratospheric measurements by Polar Ozone Aerosol Measurement (POAM) instrument during 1998‐2003. Comparisons HALOE data balloon at Boulder, Colorado (408N), show partial agreement changes 1992‐2002, but decadal increases this period not data. well correlated tropopause temperatures.
