摘要: Russia is experiencing one of the fastest growing HIV epidemics in world. Russian sexually transmitted disease (STD) clinic patients are at elevated risk for infection with and other STDs due to unsafe sexual behaviors. Future reduction intervention efforts this group must be grounded a solid understanding factors associated risky We collected information about behaviors, substance use, protective strategies, HIV-related attitudes 400 high-risk men women presenting an STD major metropolis. Alcohol use conjunction activity was common sample (85%). One-third study participants had more than 1 partner past 3 months, half (48%) previously been diagnosed STD. However, despite evidence behavior, most (67%) reported using condoms less time. High-risk behavior lower perceived severity AIDS.
