摘要: This is a descriptive study designed to elicit information regarding the types of stressful situations experienced by elderly and coping strategies utilized deal with stress. The theory stress (Lazarus & Folkman, 1984) was as theoretical framework for study. Methodology consisted administration questionnaire. Participants were first asked describe event that they had within past month. Subsequently, identify used Data analysis revealed loss conflict two major elderly, prayer most frequently strategy. Additional studies are needed determine effectiveness elderly. findings have implications community health nurses.
