Impact of psoriasis in the quality of life of children, adolescents and their families: a cross-sectional study.

摘要: BACKGROUND Psoriasis is a chronic and inflammatory disease that impairs quality of life causes psychological symptoms. Despite the high prevalence psoriasis in pediatric patients, studies investigating impact children, adolescents families are sparse. OBJECTIVE To investigate children with their to determine depression anxiety levels patients. METHODS A total 58 patients aged 7-18 years (median age: 11) family member each patient were included study. Children's Dermatology Life Quality Index (CDLQI), Family (FDLQI), Depression Inventory (CDI) State-Trait Anxiety for Children (STAIC) used RESULTS The median PASI score study was 1.8. CDLQI FDLQI scores groups 5 10, respectively. CDI score, STAIC-state STAIC-trait 6, 28 32.5, STUDY LIMITATIONS Lack control group assessment severity. Relatively mild severity subjects. CONCLUSIONS has negative families, even presence disease. Considering impairment may be associated psychosocial morbidity, combined approach medical therapy, counseling beneficial this group.
