摘要: About 53 million km2, or 40% of the Earth’s land surface is grassland, containing about one-third global stock terrestrial C. Grasslands are ecosystems where dominant vegetation component comprised herbaceous species, with less than 10% tree cover (Jones and Donnelly 2004). either natural (e.g. steppes central Asia prairies North America) anthropogenic in origin north-western Europe, New Zealand, parts South America Australia). heavily relied upon for food forage production, world milk beef production occurs on grassland managed solely these purposes (Conant et al. 2001).
