摘要: The field of glycopeptide and homogenous glycoprotein (gp) synthesis is current interest to many laboratories worldwide. With over 50% human proteins being glycosylated there increasing evidence that glycoproteins are playing a central role in important biological processes disease developments. recent discovery immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-neutralizing antibodies (Abs), 2G12, recognize conserved unusually dense cluster oligomannose residues on the gp120 HIV-1 highlights importance design novel immunogens. In addition, hold great drug as presented by 60 recombinant development stages. Yet, remaining challenges overcome several aspects glycan, glycopeptide, obtain products more effective manner. this chapter we surveying strategies used synthesize these complex natural structures their mimetics with emphases developments fields.
